Purpose

The ANU Entrepreneurship Club (ANUEC) values reliability, transparency, and mutual respect among all members and volunteers. This policy outlines expectations for attendance, communication, and team conduct, while recognising that all members have personal, academic, and professional commitments.

Guiding Principles

  1. ANUEC promotes a culture of understanding and flexibility, balanced with accountability and respect for others’ time.
  2. Members are trusted to manage their own schedules and communicate absences responsibly.
  3. This policy is designed to maintain fairness, ensure active engagement, and protect the effectiveness of the team.

Short-Term Absence

  1. Members may take short breaks or time off of up to one week without the need to provide a reason or documentation.
  2. Members are expected to inform their immediate supervisor, manager, or the Secretary before taking leave, where possible.
  3. Repeated or extended absences beyond one week should be discussed with the relevant Executive member.
