We like to believe that we are very understanding of everyone’s commitments. If you think you need time off, take time off— no questions asked if your break is for less than a week.

But this is only applicable if you are nice team member all year round.

What it means to be a good team member:

• You are active on Slack when we need you. We don’t appreciate when people take 24 hours to reply to simple texts
• You get shit done
• You are transparent about your workload with your manager
• You check your email regularly
• You come to team meetings & events and are not always late!

For some reason the leadership loves calendar invites and gets really pissed when you don’t reply to them so keep that in mind.

We don’t like no-shows

Absences and leaves are fine. We will never ask you for a medical certificate or for you to justify your leaves when you ask for them. But this means when you say you will come to a team engagement, we expect to see you there.

We follow a simple formula:

Miss more than 3 consecutive engagements including but not limited team meetings, bondings or even general events; we will ask you to leave the club.

Obviously, work and health comes first and we won’t penalise you for making a living but missing three consecutive engagements for non-work or health related reasons, does not fly with us.
