- Ensure timely resolution of concerns raised by members.
Guiding Principles
- Respect and Inclusion: We respect all individuals and their decisions. Every voice matters, and all concerns will be treated with respect and confidentiality.
- Democratic Process: We follow a democratic and collaborative approach in our decision-making.
- Transparency and Fairness: All grievances will be handled with impartiality, ensuring a fair and equitable process.
Grievance Resolution Process
Step 1: Raise Informal Concerns with Your Manager
If you have a professional grievance, you are encouraged to first raise the matter informally with your designated manager. Manager assignments can be found on your Outlook profile.
Step 2: Approach the President's Office
If you are unsatisfied with the resolution at the managerial level, you may escalate the matter to the President and their office informally.
- Please allow up to 3 working days for the President’s Office to address your concern.
Step 3: Submit a Formal Appeal to the Executive Committee
If you believe your case has still not received a fair judgment, you may submit a formal appeal to the Executive Committee.
- Formal appeals should be submitted via email to [email protected].
- The Executive Committee will provide a resolution within 10 working days of receiving the formal appeal.
