Purpose

The ANU Entrepreneurship Club (ANUEC) is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for everyone involved in our work.

This policy explains how ANUEC looks after the wellbeing of people who may be more at risk, such as students under 18 or anyone who may need extra support. It sets out how the Club prevents harm, handles concerns, and ensures everyone feels safe at our events and programs.

Guiding Principles

  1. Everyone has the right to feel safe and respected.
  2. The Club does not tolerate abuse, neglect, harassment, or exploitation of any kind.
  3. All activities, whether in person or online, must reflect care, respect, and fairness.
  4. The Club follows relevant laws, including the Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Act 2011 (ACT) and the ACNC Governance Standards.
  5. Safeguarding is a shared responsibility for every member, volunteer, and partner.
