These Terms and Conditions constitute a binding agreement between each Participant and the ANU Entrepreneurship Club ("the Organiser") in relation to participation in the HackANU event ("the Event"), hosted at The Australian National University Campus, Canberra. By purchasing a ticket, registering, or attending the Event, each Participant agrees to be bound by the following provisions:
1.1 All requests for refunds shall be assessed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the Organiser.
1.2 The Organiser provides no guarantee that a refund will be granted in any circumstance.
2.1 Each team must comprise a minimum of three (3) Participants and shall not exceed four (4) Participants.
2.2 At least one (1) Participant in each team must be a current student or staff member of The Australian National University.
2.3 Each Participant must hold a valid ticket or membership to be eligible to participate.
2.4 Individual registrants who are not part of a pre-formed team will be assigned to a team by the Organiser no later than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the commencement of the Event.
2.5 Requests for modifications to team structure may be submitted to [email protected] and shall be considered up to twenty-four (24) hours before the commencement of the Event.
3.1 All Participants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of registration.
3.2 Only individuals with a valid and unique ticket or membership shall be permitted to attend.
4.1 The theme of the Event shall be the utilisation of low-code and no-code development tools.
4.2 A specific topic shall be released twenty-four (24) hours prior to the commencement of the Event.
4.3 The Event shall commence at 12:00pm on the scheduled date, during which Participants shall have twenty-two (22) hours to develop their product.
4.4 At the twenty-second (22nd) hour, each team shall submit a written document explaining their product, including screenshots of the prototype.
4.5 At the twenty-third (23rd) hour, five (5) teams shall be shortlisted and notified by the Organiser to make a pitch deck for the final round.
